Face Shape Guide.

Find your shape, then find the frame that flatters it — each one mapped to the four LUNOR cuts.

First, find your shape

Pull your hair back and look straight into a mirror. Note your widest feature — forehead, cheekbones, or jaw — and whether your chin reads as rounded, pointed, or square. That, plus how long your face looks against its width, places you in one of the six shapes below. Most people are a blend, so pick the closest match.

Oval

Length a little greater than width, with a forehead marginally wider than a softly rounded jaw. The most balanced shape — almost any frame works, so wear what you love.

Round

Width and length are similar, with full cheeks and a soft, curved jaw. Angular frames add the definition and length a round face is after.

Square

A strong, defined jaw and broad forehead, roughly equal in width and length. Curved frames soften the corners and balance the angles.

Heart

A wider forehead and cheekbones taper to a narrow, pointed chin. Lighter, bottom-weighted frames balance the top and draw the eye down.

Diamond

Forehead and jaw are narrow, with the cheekbones as the widest point. Frames that widen the brow flatter dramatic cheekbones beautifully.

Oblong

Noticeably longer than it is wide, with a straight cheek line. Frames with depth break up the length and add a welcome sense of width.
